Gyu-Ri had found herself out at the lighthouse again on the coast of Olivine City. She didn't enter the building but instead sat outside of it watching the sun set over the ocean. She could see the last boat full of shipping containers docking in the port from here and it seemed as if the voices of it's workers traveled all the way up to the lighthouse as they barked orders at each other.

There was just something relaxing about the lighthouse that allowed her to decompress after a long day of battles at the gym. It seemed to be like busy season was upon johto now considering how many trainers she had to deal with today and it made her already want to take a vacation and go somewhere else. She couldn't allow herself a vacation though not with so much work to be done on the gym itself. The building was getting a bit old and needed some infrastructure changes that she had been running through her mind all day. The steel support beams would have to be replaced first for safety reasons.

As she was going over additional cosmetic changes in her head she heard the door to the lighthouse open and close behind her. Even thought she hadn't been expecting anyone else being up here at this hour it wasn't unusual for trainers to come check it out while they traveled through. She glanced over her shoulders to see if she could recognize them but it was already getting a bit too dark. "Hello?"

Waves crash outside, the only answer to Gyu-Ri's greeting. Underneath the crash of the sea, however, there's another sound.

The patter of footsteps on the staircase winding up inside the lighthouse.

The air in the lighthouse draws tight, thick, as if it were about to storm.

A loud snap ricochets against the walls as Alakazam teleports in front of the girl. Its spoons are made of delicate porcelain, and it crosses one in front of the other with a gentle metal clink that echos through the cylindrical room.

The walls turn a nightmarish purple, undulating like waves, and Alakazam disappears from sight. The door stays closed, although now it's hidden behind the shifting, technicolor waves.

Sabrina's Alakazam uses Trick Room.
